School of Arts and Humanities Global Scholarship

We are proud to offer one prestigious full scholarship international students who wish to study one of our MA and MA by Research courses.

This scholarship is competitive and is judged by a panel of senior academics from the School of Arts and Humanities based on the information provided in your application.

Please note:

• Applicants must be holding an offer to study an MA, MRes or MA by Research postgraduate course in the School of Arts and Humanities starting in 2013.
• The scholarship is awarded as a full tuition-fee reduction. There is no cash alternative.
• The scholarship does not cover the cost of travel, accommodation, visa administration or living costs associated with studying in the UK.
• Applications are assessed on academic merit and your motivation, wider experience and circumstances as outlined in the personal statement section of your application form.
• These bursaries are only available for nationalities outside of the UK or European Union.

The deadline for bursary applications for courses starting in the academic year 2013 / 14 is 31 May 2013. You should expect to hear if your application has been successful no later than 28 June 2013. If you are successful in receiving the Global Scholarship we will waive or refund your advance payment.

Foundation Studies Scholarship at RMIT University, Australia

If you are an international student enrolling in Foundation Studies at RMIT, this scholarship could pay a contribution towards your tuition fees.

Values and duration

The scholarship pays $4000 towards your tuition fees.

Number of scholarships available

Scholarships are available each year, and one will be awarded for each program intake, commencing with the February 2013 intake.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

• be an international student
• be studying Foundation Studies at RMIT
• display high standards of academic merit and personal achievement.

This scholarship is not available if you are studying any undergraduate or postgraduate programs.

Berikut ini kami sampaikan informasi Beasiswa Khazanah Asia Scholarship 2013 untuk mahasiswa yang ingin melanjutkan studi Pasca Sarjana (S2) di 8 universitas pilihan di Malaysia.

Persyaratan:

1. warga negara Indonesia, berusia tidak lebih dari 35 tahun;
2. sudah meraih gelar Sarjana (S1) dengan IPK minimum 3,50/4,00 atau nilai rata-rata ‘A’ atau yang setara;
3. memiliki kemampuan memimpin yang tinggi dan aktif dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, kegiatan sosial, atau kegiatan sukarela;
4. menguasai Bahasa Inggris dengan baik;
5. sehat jasmani dan rohani;

The competition “My 5 Star Experience” invites candidates to think about the best tailored services customers would love to experience during their stay in a luxury hotel.

Brief
Park Hyatt Milano is developing its service offer through new services aiming to provide clients with unique experiences to explore and enjoy the city for a week or a weekend stay. The candidates will identify new service packages tailored to the desires of specific user targets and clusters visiting Milan for a week or a weekend.

Audience
The competition is open to professionals and graduates in business and design-related disciplines, humanity studies, social sciences, and communication.

Prizes
• One scholarship covering 70% of the total tuition fee of the Master Program.
• One scholarship covering 50% of the total tuition fee of the Master Program.
• One scholarship covering 30% of the total tuition fee of the Master Program.

Deadline

Beasiswa Mahasiswa Unggulan Pondok Pesantren, UII

Untuk menjadi mahasiswa unggulan pondok pesantren calon harus lulus salah satu pola seleksi, baik melalui pola seleksi CBT, PBT maupun PSB dan lulus tes khusus yang diselenggarakan oleh Pondok Pesantren UII. Penjaringan calon mahasiswa Unggulan Pondok Pesantren ini memberikan beasiswa yang dibagi menjadi 2 (dua) tipe yaitu Beasiswa Penuh (Tipe A) dan Beasiswa Sebagian (Tipe B). Program Mahasiswa Unggulan Pondok Pesantren dikhususkan hanya bagi program studi jenjang Strata Satu (S1) semua fakultas kecuali Program Studi Pendidikan Dokter hanya dibolehkan untuk Tipe B.

Beasiswa Ponpes Penuh (Tipe A)

Jalur ini dibuka untuk mahasiswa (laki-laki dan perempuan) dengan mendapatkan beasiswa penuh berupa:

• Pembebasan biaya studi yang meliputi: SPP selama masa studi, sumbangan Catur Dharma, Biaya Lembaga Kemahasiswaan, Biaya Praktikum, Biaya KKN dan Biaya Wisuda,
• Pembebasan biaya pondokan dan fasilitasnya. Peserta yang diterima wajib mengikuti pendidikan dan melaksanakan/mengikuti kegiatan yang ditetapkan oleh Pondok Pesantren UII.

Syarat Khusus Penerima Beasiswa Penuh (Tipe A)

• Dapat Berbahasa Arab dan Inggris secara aktif (memiliki TOEFL/TOEFL®ITP Score minimal 450) yang dibuktikan melalui tes lisan dan tertulis serta menyerahkan TOEFL/TOEFL®ITP Score minimal 450.
• Nilai rata-rata rapor minimal 8,5 (delapan koma lima) dan Ujian Akhir Nasional (UAN) minimal 7 (tujuh) yang dibuktikan dengan fotokopi rapor kelas XII dan Fotokopi Nilai UAN, masing-masing telah dilegalisasi.

Beasiswa Ponpes Sebagian (Tipe B)

Jalur ini membuka kesempatan kepada mahasiswa (laki-laki dan perempuan) dengan mendapatkan beasiswa berupa pembebasan biaya pondokan dan fasilitasnya. Walaupun demikian, peserta masih mendapat kesempatan memperoleh beasiswa internal (reguler) UII dan eksternal lainnya. Peserta yang diterima juga wajib mengikuti pendidikan dan melaksanakan/mengikuti kegiatan yang ditetapkan oleh Pondok Pesantren UII.

Syarat Khusus Penerima Beasiswa Sebagian (Tipe B)

• Dapat Berbahasa Arab dan Inggris secara aktif (memiliki TOEFL/TOEFL®ITP Score minimal 400) yang dibuktikan melalui tes lisan dan tertulis serta menyerahkan TOEFL/TOEFL®ITP Score minimal 400.
• Nilai rata-rata rapor minimal 8 (delapan) dan Ujian Akhir Nasional (UAN) minimal 7 (tujuh) yang dibuktikan dengan fotokopi rapor kelas XII dan Fotokopi Nilai UAN, masing-masing telah dilegalisasi.

SYARAT UMUM DAN PROSEDUR PENDAFTARAN

Pendaftar harus menyerahkan:

• SK Rektor yang menunjukkan bahwa pendaftar telah diterima dari salah satu jalur seleksi baik melalui CBT, PBT maupun PSB.
• Formulir Pendaftaran sebagai Mahasiswa Unggulan Pondok Pesantren yang telah diisi.
• Fotokopi ijazah yang telah dilegalisasi SMA/SMK/MA atau yang sederajat.
• Fotokopi rapor kelas XII dan fotokopi Nilai UAN, masing-masing telah dilegalisasi, sesuai dengan syarat pada masing-masing tipe.
• TOEFL/TOEFL®ITP Score dengan skor minimal sesuai persyaratan.
• Surat Keterangan Catatan Kriminal (SKCK) dari POLRI yang menunjukkan calon berkelakukan baik.
• Surat rekomendasi dari tokoh masyarakat atau pimpinan pondok pesantren setempat yang menunjukkan calon berakhlak baik dan aktif beribadah.
• Piagam/sertifikat/surat keterangan yang menunjukkan prestasi dan keaktifan berorganisasi.
• Fotokopi akte kelahiran yang membuktikan usia maksimal 21 tahun.
• Surat keterangan sehat dari dokter.

Calon mahasiswa membawa semua dokumen persyaratan umum dan khusus ke panitia PMB di Gedung GBPH Prabuningrat (Kantor Rektorat UII) Lantai 1 Kampus Terpadu Universitas islam Indonesia, Jalan Kaliurang, Km. 14,5 Sleman Yogyakarta.

TEMPAT DAN JADUAL SELEKSI

Penyerahan dokumen dan Ujian Masuk Pesantren (yang meliputi materi: Bahasa Arab, Bahasa Inggris, Psikotes, dan Kepesantrenan) dilaksanakan di Gedung GBPH Prabuningrat (Kantor Rektorat UII) Kampus Terpadu Universitas Islam Indonesia, Jalan Kaliurang, Km. 14,5 Sleman Yogyakarta.

International Scholarships at University of Brighton, UK

In 2013, 40 University of Brighton international scholarships worth a reduction of £4,000 off the cost of your tuition fees for each year of your course are available to new, full-time international undergraduate and postgraduate taught-degree students.

Criteria

The criteria for awarding University of Brighton international scholarships are primarily merit-based. Merit does not necessarily have to mean academic merit but could also be interpreted to include outstanding performance in a variety of spheres.

The strongest candidates will be those demonstrating a mixture of academic merit (including English language ability) and other merit or outstanding achievement in a particular field of activity.

You will also need to demonstrate that you have sufficient funds to pay the remainder of the fees.

Eligibility

In order to be eligible to apply for a scholarship you must be a new, full-time, international fee-status student on an undergraduate or postgraduate taught degree with a minimum course duration of 1 year. You must have applied for the course of your choice at the University of Brighton, and have been offered a place on that course for 2013 entry.

Students studying foundation degrees or undergraduate degrees at University of Brighton partner colleges or those on PG Cert/Dip courses (excluding OSPAP) are not eligible for these awards. Existing international students are not eligible unless starting a new undergraduate or postgraduate programme.

How to apply

For the 2013 academic year, please email internationalscholarships@brighton.ac.uk, with your applicant or UCAS number in the subject line, and we will send you a scholarship application pack.

The application form can then be returned electronically to the same email address or sent by post to the address indicated on the scholarship application form. Please note application forms will not be sent to students who do not have an offer of a full-time place with us.

Deadline for application

Requests for scholarship application forms will be considered from 1 October 2012 for 2013 entry. The final deadline for receiving scholarship applications back is 31 July 2013.

Before that date, early applications will be processed and awards made at the end of April 2013 and then the final awards will be made at the end of August. Decisions will be made by an Awards committee coordinated by the International Office, Registry, and decisions about scholarship awards will be communicated to applicants approximately two weeks after those dates.

You are advised to apply as early as possible after you have received our offer, as the number of scholarships is limited.

Please note any accompanying documentation will not be returned and the university's Scholarship Award Committee's decision is final.
