Full Fee Waiver Postgraduate Scholarship at Glyndŵr University, UK

15 full fee-waiver scholarships are available to eligible students wishing to undertake a full or part time postgraduate taught degree programme at Glyndŵr University commencing in academic year 2013/14.
  1. To be eligible for the scholarship, the prospective student must:

    • meet the entry requirements for their chosen postgraduate programme of study
    • be in receipt of an offer for entry on to that programme
  2. The scholarship will normally only be available to self-funded students and cannot be used in conjunction with any other scholarship, bursary or other fee discount package offered by the University.
  3. The scholarship is in the form of a full fee-waiver, no cash equivalent will be paid.
  4. Students in receipt of a scholarship are responsible for any additional costs associated with, and applicable to, the programme for which they enrolled.
  5. The scholarship is available for the normal duration of the programme of study (usually, but not exclusively 1 year full-time or 3 years part-time). Students who do not complete their programme within the normal programme duration will be liable for the full amount of any additional fees associated with the continuation of their study.
Students previously registered for a postgraduate award at the University, but who have not successfully completed their intended programme of study, will not normally be eligible for this scholarship.

  1. In order to apply for the full fee-waiver scholarship you will need to make an application for your chosen masters course. You also need to submit a separate scholarship statement of no more than 1000 words saying why you think you should be awarded the scholarship.
  2. The deadline for scholarships is 30th June 2013, applications received after that date will not be considered.
  3. For the purposes of the scheme a graduate is considered to be someone holding a Bachelors degree with honours, or recognised equivalent.
  4. Students in receipt of any scholarship are expected to abide by the normal regulations and codes of practice of the University and of their particular award.  The University reserves the right to withdraw the scholarship at any time if the student’s academic progress is not deemed acceptable, or the student fails to abide by the University’s regulations or codes of practice.  The student has the right of appeal under the University’s regulations, details of which can be found on-line or are available from the Academic Registry.
  5. A scholarship should not be assumed by either the applicant or the Programme Leader until it is confirmed in writing from the Graduate School. All successful applicants will be informed by 31st July 2013.
  6.  Students awarded one of the above scholarships will be notified in writing of the award; the award of a scholarship should not be assumed and only those with formal written confirmation will have the applicable amount remitted from their fees.
  7. The University reserves the right to withdraw the scholarship scheme at any time.
 
Programmes included in the scholarship: MA; MBA, MSc.
MRes programmes and the Executive MBA are not included in this scholarship.
The Scholarship is available only to students undertaking their studies at: Glyndŵr University Wrexham; Glyndŵr University Northop; Glyndŵr University St Asaph; and the Advanced Composites Training and Development Centre.
