Leiden University Excellence Scholarship programme (LExS) is a scholarship for excellent Non-EU/EEA students enrolling in a Leiden University. This programme is provided for international students enrolling master’s degree programme and for excellent students from all nationalities enrolling in a Master of Law Advanced Programme or MSc in International Relations and Diplomacy.Eligibility:
1. Non-EU/EEA students enrolling in a Leiden University master's degree programme starting September 2012 or February 2013.
2. All nationalities enrolling in the following programmes starting September 2012 or February 2013:
- Master of Laws: Advanced Studies in Air and Space Law
- Master of Laws: Advanced Studies in European and International Business Law
- Master of Laws: Advanced Studies in International Tax Law
- Master of Laws: Advanced Studies in Public International Law
- MSc in International Relations and Diplomacy
What will be Funded?
Leiden University advises a budget of approx. €10,000 to €14,000 per year to cover the costs for rent, insurance, living expenses, course books and local transportation. it is not including the tuition fee.
How to Apply?
The applicant should fill an application form using online application system, upload all necessary document and Letter of Motivation ( max 500 words). The applicant also have to pay the application fee.
Deadline:
- 1 April 2012 (only for programmes of the Leiden Law School starting in September 2012).
- 1 October 2012 (for programmes starting in February 2013).
