IPSWaT (International Postgraduate Studies in Water Technologies) Scholarships in Germany

The IPSWaT (International Postgraduate Studies in Water Technologies) scholarship programme was launched in 2001. Its aim is to support highly qualified young students and young scientists from Germany and abroad who are interested in attending German universities to acquire Master’s degrees that are international in outlook, related to water technologies, and taught in English.


Who is Eligible?
1.    Applicant should be Bachelor’s degree in a water-related field
2.    Have good English skills. It should be proofed by either TOEFL, IELTS, or Unicert III and above.
3.    Have knowledge of German is an advantage
Requirements 
1. Full CV/resume without gaps 
2. Letter of motivation
3. Copies of all academic certificates/transcripts
4. Copies of references from professional work and qualifications
5. Proof of English skills

How to Apply?
The applicant must apply for admission and send the above required documents to the desired university/supervisor in Germany to which the applicant is applying. It is not possible for candidates to apply to the International Bureau (IB) directly.
After evaluating the applications, the supervisor / director of studies will recommend suitable candidates for a scholarship to the International Bureau of the BMBF (IB/BMBF). Each university/course of study may recommend up to 4 candidates for the last selection round.
Deadlines
Applications for the next and last call for Master-scholarships next year must be submitted by the supervisor to the International Bureau of the BMBF by March 5th, 2012.
