Scholarships are open to young people who are in industrial vocational training or have recently completed their training and wish to spend a maximum period of one year abroad to gain international work experience.

Only trainees / graduates in the following groups are eligible:

Commercial occupations such as office / commercial / IT administrators and office communications personnel

Technical occupations such as systems / industrial / precision mechanics, mechatronics engineers, electronics specialists in automation and industrial engineering, IT specialists for systems integration and IT technicians

Scientific occupations such as biology and chemistry laboratory technicians, chemical / pharmaceutical technicians, chemical production specialists and biological / pharmaceutical / chemical assistants

Health sector occupations such as medical assistants, medical support staff, physiotherapists and nurses

Please note that scholarships are only awarded under the following conditions:

• Specific vocational projects with a maximum funding period of 1 year
• Vocational training must have been completed no longer than two years ago
• Applicants must either have trained in Germany and wish to go abroad or they must live and work abroad and want to come to Germany for no more than one year

Please be aware that your session will run off in case of inactivity.
