IT Bachelor-Master Package Scholarship Program, University of Queensland, Australia

The Information Technology Bachelor-Master Package Program allows international students who articulate with credit into year 3 of UQ’s Bachelor of Information Technology to complete the Bachelor degree as well as the Master of Computer Science in only five semesters (or two calendar years).
Students who meet the entry requirements of the IT Bachelor-Master Package Program and successfully complete the Bachelor of Information Technology with an appropriate GPA will automatically be admitted into the Master of Computer Science program. Scholarships are available for this program and cover the tuition fees for the final semester of the Masters degree.

www.acehscholarships.comThe IT Bachelor-Master Package Program is available to eligible students who receive two years advanced standing towards the Bachelor of Information Technology on the basis of approved prior studies (e.g. students from Singaporean Polytechnics, or other partner programs in Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam) and apply to continue in the Master of Computer Science. Students should submit both applications together. 

Entry requirements
To apply, a student must
(a) have successfully completed prior studies in Information Technology and be eligible for #32 (2 years) advanced standing, and
(b) satisfy the Executive Dean that, based on the student’s academic record the student is suitably qualified for admission.
International students must undertake this program on campus at UQ on a full time basis to be eligible to apply for an Australian student visa.

IT Package scholarships

Eligible students who qualify for the IT Bachelor-Master Package Program can apply for a scholarship which covers the full tuition fees of the final semester of the Master of Computer Science.
Students who have been granted another Faculty Scholarship (e.g. 50% tuition support for the BInfTech) will not be eligible for the IT Package Scholarship.

Conditions
The scholarship, valued at $14,800, is available for students applying for the IT Bachelor-Master Package Program. This program allows international students who articulate with #32 credits of advanced standing into year 3 of UQ’s Bachelor of Information Technology to complete the Bachelor degree as well as the Master of Computer Science in only five semesters (or two calendar years). The IT Package Scholarship covers the tuition fees of the final semester in the Master of Computer Science.
The successful applicants must be classed as an international student in Australia (Australian permanent residents and Australian citizens are not eligible).
Scholarship applications must be received with the IT Package Program application at UQ by:
• 31 October to commence in Semester 1 (February)
• 30 April to commence in Semester 2 (July)
